Over the years, Kenya Institute of Planners has engaged in a variety of international activities aimed at three major goals:
Education and awareness-building:
Influencing policy related to international urban affairs, export development and international urban cooperation;
Employment and business development:
Generating employment and business opportunities for KIP members
Contributing to Kenya’s awareness of the state of planning abroad and participating in projects that advance the profession at home and abroad.
Kenya Institute of Planners works with a number of international planning organizations to enhance the recognition of planning and to build broad support among professionals, decision-makers and the public for the value of good planning practice.
